Each year, our organization is proud to support the next generation of leaders through the Legacy Scholarship Program. This initiative recognizes high school seniors who demonstrate not only academic achievement but also a commitment to inspiring others, fostering connections, and leaving a meaningful legacy in their schools and communities.
For 2025, we awarded three $1,000 Legacy Scholarships to exceptional students who embody these values. Each recipient has shown outstanding leadership, compassion, and the drive to make a difference—qualities we believe will serve them and their communities well as they move forward.
Meet the 2025 Legacy Scholarship Recipients:

Melody Werd – Harrison School for the Arts
Nia Bonney – Polk State Lakeland Gateway to College Collegiate High School
Yasmine Lakhouaja – International Baccalaureate at Bartow Senior High
These students were honored during their respective senior awards ceremonies, where they were celebrated not just for their achievements, but for the positive mark they've already left on their peers and schools.

We are deeply grateful to Jeanette Crowley, past president, and Chrissanne Long, current president, for representing our organization at each ceremony and personally presenting the awards. Their participation highlights our ongoing commitment to nurturing young leaders in our community.
As these students continue their journeys, we look forward to seeing how they’ll carry forward the spirit of leadership, connection, and legacy that this scholarship represents.
About the Legacy Scholarship
The Legacy Scholarship is more than a financial award; it’s a recognition of character and potential. It celebrates students who lead by example—those who strive to create positive change, lift others up, and leave lasting contributions wherever they go.
